Forms for Power Users
Your IT Coordinator or
isginf can delegate certain management tasks to you for your convenience. These tasks include:
- Modifying certain settings of accounts of other users
- Populating UNIX groups
- Modifying UNIX netgroups (NFS export lists)
Some typical scenarios where tasks are delegated to you are:
- Modifying the account of a guest of yours or a student doing a project for you
- Adding and removing users of a UNIX group you use to control access to files and resources associated with your project
- Modifying a UNIX netgroup that lists hosts that you manage
