Service Description
isginf is responsible for the
@inf.ethz.ch e-mail domain. The mail system itself is managed by the
ITS.
isginf offers first-level support.
The mail service is implemented using Microsoft Exchange and supports the following protocols: MAPI, SMTPs, IMAPs, POPs, Active Sync, and web access. In addition to the mail service, the Microsoft Exchange system offers a calendaring service.
Mail addresses policy
The following policy applies for mail addresses at D-INFK:

firstname.lastname@inf.ethz.ch and login@inf.ethz.ch for professors, assistants and staff members

login@student.ethz.ch for all students

login@inf.ethz.ch for all others
- Additional aliases within the inf.ethz.ch mail domain are only allowed if approved by the isginf. Any non-conform alias can be removed without prior notice at any time.
