The Data Center Observatory (DCO) is a joint research project of EPFL, ETH Zurich and USI. The DCO cluster consists of 176 compute nodes, 2 fat nodes and additional infrastructure. Researchers have root access to the nodes for bare-metal research.

The cluster is operational. The hardware is out of warranty and the nodes 169 to 176 are permanently reserved and serve as spare parts for the rest of the nodes for the remaining life time of the cluster.Participation
Use of the cluster is available to all researchers of the participating organizations. The only requirement is that the following is added to any publication that uses data obtained on the cluster:This research was performed, in part, on the "Datacenter Observatory" suported by an R'Equip grant of the Swiss National Science Foundation (206021_133835) and operated by EPFL, ETH Zurich, and the Universita della Svizzera Italiana.
Requesting Access
