isginf facilitates the repairs of broken equipment through the manufacturer or vendor if all of the following apply:

  • The device is still under warranty or your research group is willing to pay for the repairs.
  • The device belongs to ETH.
  • It is a IT or related device (computer, monitor, peripherial, etc.)

Please file a repair request through the repair form. We will then verify the warranty status and contact you for the further processing.


Please contact our service desk for all other repairs. We still may be able to help you:

  • For older equipment we may have spare parts that you can use to repair a device yourself or with our help.
  • We may have second hand hardware as a replacement for the broken device.
