facilitates the repairs of broken equipment through the manufacturer or vendor if all of the following apply:
- The device is still under warranty or your research group is willing to pay for the repairs.
- The device belongs to ETH.
- It is a IT or related device (computer, monitor, peripherial, etc.)
Please file a repair request through the repair form
. We will then verify the warranty status and contact you for the further processing.
Please contact our service desk
for all other repairs. We still may be able to help you:
- For older equipment we may have spare parts that you can use to repair a device yourself or with our help.
- We may have second hand hardware as a replacement for the broken device.
